How do I apply for pre-authorized debit (PAD) for water and sewer account?

To set up a Pre-Authorized Debit you must first:

  1. Pay your current bill. Your account must have a $0.00 balance to enroll.
  2. Log in to My ServiceOttawa.
  3. Ensure that you have registered your water and sewer account inside My ServiceOttawa. (How do I register a water and sewer bill to My ServiceOttawa account?(link is external)).
  4. Select View water account.
  5. Select account from the drop down beside the account #.
  6. Select Pre-authorized payment from the menu on the left.
  7. Enter your banking information in the boxes provided. 
  8. Read Terms and Conditions before clicking in the box indicating you have done so.
  9. Click on the Submit button.
  10. A confirmation letter will be issued once PAD is set up on your water and sewer account. You can also verify the PAD is set up through My ServiceOttawa.
